OUR CURRENT LOCATION
We believe that our marching orders come from the book of Acts 2:42-47.
The Fellowship of the Believers.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."
As we gather for worship in Wyoming, MI, we are trying to live out these words.
We are challenged daily with questions like; what if church wasn't meant to look like what church looks like today? What if church is more than just Sundays? What if church means being a part of a community that genuinely cares for each other for better and for worst? What if our church community can stand by each other in times of trouble?
These questions remind us everyday that this life is about our every day journey between Jesus and Me.
